As a concert photographer you seldom know in advance what situation you will encounter. You could end up in a photo pit just in front of the stage, sometimes there is a designated area for photographers somewhere in the arena and sometimes you just have to fight your way to pictures from the crowd. When Lorde played at Annexet in Stockholm on October 17, we had to stand in the back, behind the sound mixing table, so it was difficult to find unique angles, to say the least. Still, during the first three songs that we were allowed in the arena, I think I managed to shoot some quite okay pictures:
